Richmond, VA Food and Drink

Richmond’s food scene is exploding with recent accolades from James Beard Foundation, Plate Magazine, Esquire and Zagat’s. There are many great restaurants we love. Here are just a few that we frequent.

Conch Republic : Amazing river views. We like to sit on the deck and have a drink at sunset.

Mamma ’Zu: Authentic Italian. Casual and quirky atmosphere and absolutely delicious

Stella’s: From a local family with several great restaurants, we love Stella’s for quality Greek food and lively atmosphere.

Mekong: Best beer menu in town, fabulous Vietnamese food and great conversation whether with other patrons, the servers or the bartenders.

Boka Tako Truck: Innovative tacos and roving locations. A great lunch option.

Food Truck Courts: There are several of these around town. We love trying something different each time. Please check website because locations change and some are seasonal.

Alamo BBQ: Our fav BBQ place, Alamo isn’t fancy. Grab a picnic table and enjoy sitting in historic Church Hill

Rappahannock: Blazing the trail for Virginia oysters, we love this downtown location and the food is delicious. If you want something more casual, check out their location a short drive away on the water in Topping, VA.
